Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. This role offers hybrid and flexible working arrangements; please speak to your recruiter about options for this particular role.

Responsibilities

• Analysis and Design of complex steel structures utilizing Eurocodes, British Standards and BAE standards, to support submarine build
• Utilize knowledge of regulations and requirements beyond that used within BAE Systems, e.g., LOLER, codes of compliance, weld specifications, geometric tolerance
• Competent in computer based analytical techniques including finite element analysis, CAD modelling and engineering schematics (Abaqus, S-Frame)
• Support the manufacturing, assembly, lifting, handling, and installation processes of Submarine Structures, Modules and Components
