Job Description:

The Recovery nurse will provide critical care to patients before and after surgery. They will be responsible to clean wounds, administer medication and monitor the progress of the patients' conditions

Job Duties:

Before Surgery

1.Work with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical nurses to prepare patients for surgery.

2.To record vital signs, instruct patients on the details of the procedures and administer intravenous therapy and medication.

3.Help doctors transfer patients to the operating room, and may be asked to clean wounds, sterilize equipment and make sure patients' rooms are ready for their arrival.

4.To communicate with loved ones and inform them of patients' conditions.

After Surgery

1.Monitor their vital signs, clean bandages and comfort patients when they wake up from anesthesia.
