Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Attend daily subcontractor meetings to address structural and architectural issues and keep progress aligned with the project schedule
- Monitor site progress and subcontractors’ safety compliance, reporting observations to the supervisor and safety officer
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications, and implement corrective actions for any non-conformance
- Conduct daily inspections with the Resident Engineer (RE) or Resident Technical Officer (RTO), and follow up on comments to secure work approvals
- Maintain proper records of inspection forms for reference and as documentation for any future defect-related matters
- Communicate confidently with workers, subcontractors, and colleagues, while seeking guidance from senior staff when necessary and maintaining professionalism
