We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Sr. Scientist to join Obesity, Metabolism and Muscle Diseases Group. The candidate will support identification and validation of novel drug targets for metabolic disorders. The successful candidate will be results-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving abilities who is flexible, team-oriented, creative and able to excel in a multi-project, fast-paced environment.

**As a Sr Scientist, a typical day may include:**

+ Identify and implement novel areas, technologies and approaches for validating targets and target modalities to advance metabolic disease drug discovery
+ Design and conduct in vitro assays
+ Design and perform in vivo studies in animal models to support target validation and mechanistic understanding
+ Analyze data and make scientifically sound conclusions
