**Job Description Summary**
The Senior Protection & Control (P&C) and System Engineer works on T&D substations for AC, HVDC and FACTS projects with designers, peer engineers & leaders.They are responsible for the review of P&C designs developed by the project teams and confirm compliance with project specifications and applicable Standards. The Engineer should actively work on mentoring the secondary design team and acts as its main technical authority while also representing GE with external standards committees (e.g. IEEE). The Senior Protection & Control Engineer is an established leader in their respective engineering team. The Engineer drives business strategy through detailed technical and economic understanding of the marketplace and takes the initiative to provide customers with the best solutions that positively impact business.
