Job Description
Opus People Solutions are hiring for a Senior Planning Policy Officer within a Local Authority client based in Northamptonshire.
The role is 37 hours per week, offering remote working (2 days on-site per week), and Β£32.95 Umbrella per day (Β£24.00 PAYE), with a contract length of 3 months+. Please see a high-level overview of what the position involves below:
* Undertake the provision of professional planning policy advice and information to the Council in accordance with Town and Country Planning and associated legislation
* Assist with the delivery of the Local Plan and evidence base, including the Strategic Land Availability Assessment, Site Selection, and Infrastructure Delivery Plan
* Deliver excellent customer service in every interaction for all internal and external customers, including Councillors
* Implement the Councilβs place shaping agenda and its objective to be positive and proactive in terms of allowing the 'right schemes' in th...
