Town Planner (Minerals & Waste – Development Management / Enforcement)

Location: Leicester – Hybrid Working

Rate: £55–£60 per hour (Umbrella)

Hours: 37 per week | Full time | Flexible working

A County Council planning service is seeking an experienced Agency Town Planner to support a busy Minerals and Waste team. The role covers Development Management, Enforcement, site monitoring, and policy work , with a varied and fast-paced caseload.

Key Duties

• Manage minerals and waste planning applications and provide pre-application advice
• Undertake planning enforcement investigations and site visits
• Carry out regular site monitoring of minerals and waste operations
• Prepare reports, committee papers, and appeal statements
