Job Description

To ensure uninterrupted production by planning and controlling material availability, including imported materials, while optimizing inventory levels and coordinating with procurement, suppliers, and logistics teams.

Roles & Responsibility:

  • Plan material requirements based on production schedules and forecasts
  • Run MRP and generate purchase requisitions on time and Monitor material availability (local & import) to avoid line stoppages.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels (RM, WIP, FG as applicable)
  • MRP & System Management
  • Execute MRP in ERP systems (Oracle ERP)
  • Ensure master data accuracy (BOM, lead time, safety stock, MOQ)
  • Track planning exceptions (shortages, delays, excess stock)
  • Monitor shipment status (ETD, ETA) and ensure timely customs clearance
  • Ensure availability of import documentation: Invoice, Packing List, BOE, COO, etc.
  • Follow up on port clearance and inland transportation to plant
