A lead defense contractor located in Albuqueque, New Mexico is looking to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager. This team works on cutting edge space electronics, designing sensors, satellite avionics, space based laser communications.
We prioritize technical ownership and are in a rapidly growing area of the business which leads to rapid career growth. This is prompting us to hire a senior level mechanical engineer to provide engineering design and analysis support to diverse R&D programs and small-volume production contracts. The selected candidates would be expected to lead the structural and thermal analysis of mechanical systems for space and airborne hardware, work within a multi-disciplined project team, be responsible for mechanical design and analysis activity, and support integration and formal acceptance-test activities.
