Job Description
This is a senior compliance officer role with leadership responsibilities, reporting to the Head of Regulatory Compliance and Engagement. This role is expected to take hands-on approach working in close collaboration within the Compliance team and with all relevant stakeholders to provide compliance advisory with a focus on Insurance Act and its subsidiary legislation, including all relevant Notices, Circulars, Guidelines and regulatory expectations. This role is also expected to engage with the regulators.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead, oversee and guide a team of compliance officers to ensure regulatory compliance with the Insurance Act and its subsidiary legislation, as well as all applicable regulatory requirements and expectations.
Ensure that all regulatory inquiries and matters are tracked and well addressed in a timely manner.
