Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor daily operations to ensure satisfactory services are delivered within turnaround time
  • Underwrite large amount and complex application and review suggest cases
  • Be the first port of call to resolve appeals and complaints
  • Ensure underwriting standards as per Audit Guidelines while meeting pricing assumptions of mortality and morbidity
  • Polish and enhance underwriting rules and guidelines to ensure both are reasonable and practical and in line with market practices
  • Keep track of competitors’ practices, provide recommendations and business cases to enable enhancement of existing guidelines
  • Streamline and enhance workflow and processes to ensure operational efficiency 
  • Participate in product development and lead implementation from Underwriting
  • Conduct and arrange training to underwriters
  • Lead projects when required
