Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle claims, specifically H&M, P&I, FD&D and LOH.
- Contract reviews.
- Follow up and assist in the preparation of claims to be presented to P&I Clubs and Market underwriters.
- Provide support reviewing claims information including technical reports.
- Prepare statistical analysis and reports as required (e.g. Monthly Claims Report including prospective timeline and recovery estimates).
- Support renewal preparation including reviewing claims and underwriting data.
- Liaise with brokers and underwriters as required.
- Responsibility for insurance administration for the Product and Chemical Fleets including the checking and processing of insurance related documentation.
- Provide budgetary updates to Fleet Managers and the Accounts Department.
- Liaise with departments over non-marine insurance queries.
- Provide support and enhance inter-departmental processes.
