Position Overview

The Senior Manager-Database Platforms leads strategy, operations, and governance for a large, heterogeneous enterprise database estate supporting mission-critical manufacturing workloads.
Accountable for reliability, availability, security, compliance, and cost management across 3,000+ databases, this leader directs a blended on-shore/off-shore DBA organization and partners closely with Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, Application Owners, and vendors to keep platforms current (N-2), resilient (Zone A/Zone B), and audit-ready.

Scope & Scale:

+ Enterprise database estate: 3,000+ databases across production and non-production environments

+ Team leadership: 25+ (blended on-shore/off-shore) DBAs providing 24x7 support and on-call coverage

+ Platforms: SQL Server, Oracle (incl. Apps/EBS), Teradata, DB2 (z/OS & LUW), MongoDB, MariaDB, Hadoop/IMS/RDB (as applicable), plus Control-M, Grid Infrastructure, SolarWinds, SOA, ...
