Senior Integrated Modeller and Code Developer

The salary for this role is £57,117 (inclusive of a Specialist Allowance). The role requires onsite working for 3 days each week, but flexible working arrangements are supported. The role can be based at Culham, Oxfordshire.

The employee must complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions and possibly a search of open source data.

Overview of Responsibilities

As Senior Integrated Modeller and Code Developer, you will exploit the JINTRAC core‑SOL‑divertor coupled transport code and its integrated modules to understand global tokamak experimental results relating to transport and confinement, validate new physics models, and perform cross‑code benchmarks.
