Job Description

Leading manufacturer seeks industrial engineer. Introduce and drive lean manufacturing processes in the business.

Non-Negotiables (We will check)

  • Must be a person who is obsessed with continuous improvement and making things better
  • Roll up your sleeves “get hands dirty” type of person

    • What the person must be able to do:

    This role is in the South African manufacturing industry. All duties would take place in this context.

  • Setup continuous improvement methodology in the business
  • Setup quality metrics and monitoring systems
  • Implement TQM processes
  • Drive Lean, Continuous Improvement and “right first time” Initiatives
  • Reduce defect rates and defect causes
  • Improve quality while reducing manufacturing costs
  • Drive quality as a culture throughout the business
