**Job Description**

This team is responsible for **sourcing Technology purchases** (Software, Software as a Service, Infrastructure) on a regional and global basis.  Primary responsibility is to develop, negotiate and implement sourcing strategies by working with key stakeholders on technology requirements, IT, security and legal, which then requires preparing and completing sourcing recommendations to various levels of management.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Understand the Software, IT, and Automotive industries and thestrategic directionGM software and services is headed.

+ Ability to work effectively cross functionally,internallyand externally, while building strong relationships

+ Partner with IT and Business on strategy of supply base, technologies, products used, future products, technology roadmap, andviablesuppliers for technology requirements.
