Overall Purpose of the Job
Perform 2D and 3D seismic interpretation and mapping to identify prospects suitable for exploration and appraisal, in line with the department’s annual plan and under the direction of the Team Lead or Exploration Manager.
Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of operated and non-operated G&G activities.
Assist the Team Lead in evaluating and supporting new business opportunities.
Principal Accountabilities
Interpret geophysical data to enhance the understanding of petroleum systems across diverse geological settings.
Identify and evaluate new plays and prospects using advanced seismic interpretation techniques.
Apply seismic analytical methods, such as waveform analysis and AVO, to predict lithologies and fluid content.
Assist in the planning and coordination of seismic data acquisition and (re)processing efforts in collaboration with relevant E&P teams.
