Job Description
Senior Engineering Draughtsperson / Mechanical Design Draughtsperson
Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire (minimum 2 days/week onsite, remainder remote; more onsite initially to get up to speed)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £43-£45 per hour (Umbrella)
IR35: Inside IR35
Clearance: SC clearance required to start (UKEO)
Overview
A leading organisation within the Defence & Security sector is looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Draughtsperson to support the development of 2D and 3D mechanical definitions for complex products. You'll work closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality technical documentation and drawing packs.
Responsibilities:
Must have a strong background in the ability to create 2D and 3D definitions.
In this role, you will develop the 2D and 3D definitions working with the engineer, quality assessing the 3D models you receive for a variety of defence products.
