Job Description

Overview


The Sr Direct Endorsement Residential Underwriter is responsible to perform residential loan underwriting activities related to loan request with the goal of achieving the optimal outcome for Northwest and the customer.


Essential Functions
+ Communicate with customers, realtors, title companies, attorneys, and settlement agents to schedule closings, respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and obtain any documentation required to complete the loan file
+ Interact with Mortgage Loan Originators, Loan Production Assistants and other team members on a daily basis to resolve questions/issues, and ensure timely underwriting of loan files
+ Manage a pipeline of working loan files to ensure loans are underwritten in a timely manner
