Job Description
The Senior Database Specialist supervises the administration and maintenance of diverse database systems, ensuring optimal system support. By overseeing database operations, this role contributes significantly to the organization's efficiency, data integrity, and overall success.
Responsibilities- Design and implement Oracle RAC environments from scratch on Solaris, including LDOM and Linux.
- Configure and manage Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM, and Data Guard.
- Architect and manage advanced clustering for high availability and disaster recovery across all database platforms.
- Perform cross‑platform database migrations (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) across on‑prem and cloud environments (Azure, OCI, AWS).
- Administer and optimize SQL Server AlwaysOn, FCI, Azure, and on‑prem migrations.
