**Job Description**

Must have strong, recognized expertise in instrumentation or at the bench; ability to exert quality control oversight; excellent problem solving abilities and ability to troubleshoot and refine protocols. Expected to contribute to long term projects and to assist with the development of new services, lab and research functions. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be willing to take initiative.

**Qualifications**

+ BS/BA
+ +5 years in a related research environment (or MS + 2y experience in related field)

**Responsibilities**

+ Support day to day operations and training
+ Troubleshoot and refine protocols
+ Contribute effort toward individual projects
+ Research and development
+ May oversee some technical staff or trainees
