Job Description

The Client & Role:

We're currently working with a major financial services client who is looking to bring on a senior level strategic sourcing consultant, you would be assisting them as they undertake a major M&A project. Initially offered as a 10-month contract the role has a strong likelihood of further extension following the project timeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead or contribute to major, complex and sensitive supplier negotiations, contract discussions, tender evaluations etc and provide support to reporting professionals undertaking negotiations at lower levels.
  • Produce significant financial and operational benefits and cost reduction for the organisation and enhance the professionalism of external supplier management, reporting to Head of Function on success of initiatives developed.
