WSP is currently initiating a search for a **Senior Construction Inspector** for our office located in the **Herndon, VA area.**

**Your Impact**

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Inspect and review work in accordance with applicable codes and standards included in the project drawings and specifications including roadway, bridge, paving, drainage, electrical, ITS to ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, standards and codes
+ Ability to interpret roadway and bridge plans, building plans, specifications, and contracts
+ Monitor, observe, and report on field quality control and quality assurance for materials testing activities and/or conduct routine field tests on construction materials such as slump test, air content test, and compaction tests
+ Keeps detailed records of contractor’s performance and progress.
+ Measure and record material placed for periodic contractor payments
