Job Description
Join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde as a Senior Clinical Pharmacist, focusing on governance and optimisation in a new Interface Team dedicated to patient care. Shape a transformative service in pharmacy.
This Band 8A role is a fantastic opportunity for those with advanced pharmaceutical expertise. You will work across primary and secondary care, leading initiatives that enhance medicines governance while participating in crucial quality improvement projects. This fixed-term role is based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, with a Monday to Friday work pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage high-quality clinical pharmacy services
• Conduct clinical assessments and complex case management
• Prevent and resolve medication-related issues
• Mentor staff and contribute to quality audits
• Educate pharmacy staff and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Pharmacy, registered with GPhC
