The City of New Westminster delivers a broad spectrum of urban services to over 92,000 residents and is committed to addressing climate change. In 2019 the City Council declared a climate emergency, and the City has taken significant steps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The Energy and Climate Action Department seeks a passionate individual to advance corporate and community climate action initiatives as defined in the Community Energy and Emissions Plan 2050, e‑Mobility Strategy, and the Corporate Energy and Emissions Reduction Strategy.

Responsibilities
