As a Senior Capital Investment Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping how Vector plans and invests in its network. Working closely with the Capital Investment Manager, you’ll support the development of the Asset Management Plan (AMP) by translating technical scope into high-quality cost estimates, business cases, and investment recommendations. You’ll bring a strong planning discipline and attention to detail, ensuring decisions are robust, well-informed, and aligned to customer, regulatory, and organisational outcomes.

Day to day, you’ll build and refine cost models, analyse options, and work across teams including finance business partners, network planning, network performance, network maintenance and capital delivery to ensure investment decisions are practical and achievable.
