**Job Summary**
Execute material planning for purchased components in alignment with the production plan requirements.
Utilize MRP to effectively communication schedules and purchase orders to suppliers, follow-up with suppliers daily, manage inventory levels to ensure consistent flow of materials, and provide daily updates to the production planning/master scheduling teams.
Activities and tasks will range from strategic to tactical, requiring creative thinking, project management, and negotiation expertise.
