Job Description
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for direct and/or indirect materials.
- Source and qualify new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
- Lead price negotiations, contract discussions, and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance (OTD, quality, cost) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure material availability to support production schedules and prevent shortages.
- Collaborate closely with Planning, Engineering, QA, Warehouse, and Production teams.
- Analyze market trends, cost drivers, and supply risks within the semiconductor industry.
- Implement cost reduction initiatives (VA/VE, alternativesourcing, localization).
- Manage purchase orders, supplier agreements, and documentation in ERP systems.
- Handle supplier escalations and resolve supply chain issues promptly.
