Job Description
The Sr. Business Systems Analyst is responsible for eliciting and defining business requirements and translating those requirements into specifications for implementation by the project team. While the work is managed in an agile fashion, functional specifications, end user training and launch communications are created as part of the project lifecycle. In addition to typical BSA responsibilities, some project management would also be involved. In either capacity, the BSA would be expected to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, think strategically or wade into the weeds as necessary, and make decisions based on complex criteria.
The BSA is expected to facilitate estimating of project work; effort and duration. The BSA will need to be willing to roll up their sleeves and lean in to participate in a wide variety of activities, including gathering, analyzing, and documenting stakeholder requirements (developing proc...
