An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, experienced and HCPC registered Specialist Biomedical Scientist to work alongside our senior team in the Haematology and Blood Transfusion laboratory at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as laboratory training lead.

You will have significant experience in Haematology and Blood Transfusion and will be required to work as part of the senior team within the Haematology and Blood Transfusion Laboratory, managing a range of laboratory procedures which contribute to the diagnosis, treatment, and clinical care of the patient. Training will be provided.

The post holder will help manage the team preparing specimens for testing, including running automated analysers and / or preparation of blood films for analysis.
