We're looking for a Senior Asset Planning Engineer, Rail Assets to join our dedicated and friendly Assets and Infrastructure Team in Metlink. This is a permanent role based in our Cuba Street office.

About the role

The Senior Asset Planning Engineer, Rail Assets will work across the Group and with key stakeholders who deliver public transport for the Wellington Region. You will be responsible for ensuring our long-term plans relating to strategic asset control are developed and are deliverable.

You will provide assurance that strategic rail assets can be delivered and managed with a focus on required levels of service and affordability in accordance with our strategic objectives.

This role will lead the development and delivery of asset management plans for Metlink's rail assets, including the 30-year expenditure forecast, the development of standards and a sustainable works plan. This is to ensure the smooth running of the Metlink's transport ne...
