ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a fixed term, full time SeniorAnimal Attendantto join our Animal Services team in Mangereto work on a rotating roster from Monday - Sunday, 7 am - 7 pm. This is a 10 month fixed term role.

In this role you get to see the best and the worst. It is a rewarding, fulfilling, and essential role, as well as demanding, heartbreaking and physical. It takes a special kind of person to do this role but what you get back can really fill your cup.

You will guide the animal care team to ensure they know what they are doing, and that they feel supported and are safe and well. You will support the Animal Care Lead and/or Centre Manager by coordinating daily activities.
