Job Description

What you will do

  • Develop and present ongoing and differentiated trade ideas by connecting Canadian crude fundamentals with proprietary insights, employing advanced analytics alongside supply, demand, and flow models

  • Produce short and long-term market outlooks on Canadian crude fundamentals and price differentials to inform trading decisions

  • Perform economic analysis of crude movements, quality adjustments, blending economics, transportation options (pipeline, rail, marine), and alternative markets

  • Support physical and derivatives crude trading through analysis of existing and emerging instruments linked to Canadian crude benchmarks (, WCS, WTI differentials, regional basis markets)

  • Track and analyze crude production trends, refinery demand, inventory levels, exports, and cross-border trade flows
