The Role The accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and providing timely reporting to support decision-making.
Key responsibilities include Prepare and record financial transactions including assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses. Maintain and reconcile subsidiary accounts. Assist in preparing financial statements and budgets. Collaborate with local service providers for account management and tax filings. Ensure timely tax declarations (monthly, quarterly, annually). Lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Develop and document accounting policies and internal controls. Ensure adherence to GAAP principles. Provide technical accounting support to management.
