**Job Description**

The **Sr. Accountant, Payroll Tax** oversees the payroll tax function, ensuring compliance with Federal, state, and local regulations. Manages payroll tax filings, remittances, and reconciliations. This role supports strategic initiatives related to payroll tax operations, and provides guidance to the Payroll Tax team, ensuring accurate and timely execution of payroll tax responsibilities.

**Responsibilities**

+ Menter and lead Sr. Payroll Tax Specialist and Payroll Tax Specialist
+ Ensure accurate and timely payroll tax filings and remittances
+ Oversee reconciliation of payroll tax returns and general ledger accounts
+ Manage responses to tax notices and coordinate with third-party tax administration providers
+ Lead year-end processes including W-2 preparation and balancing
