Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage general ledger accounts and perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability for construction projects.
- Review and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank accounts.
- Maintain job costing records and analyze project variances.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and financial reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with external audits and tax filings.
- Monitor subcontractor payments, retention balances, and progress billings.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Develop and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
