Job Summary

Send/SEMH Teaching Assistant – Wandsworth, London. Temp to Perm contract, £95‑£105 per day (rate based on experience and responsibilities). This role is part of an inclusive, trauma‑informed alternative provision working with Reception to Year 6 students who have experienced disruption to their education due to learning difficulties or behavioural issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 or in small staff‑to‑student ratios (e.g., 2:1 or 3:1) with students.
• Support students with SEMH, Autism (ASC), and sensory processing differences.
• Promote positive behaviour and resilience through relational, student‑led approaches.

Essential Requirements

• Experience supporting challenging behaviour in education, youth work, care, or similar fields.
• Currently living in or near Wandsworth, with Right to Work in the UK.
