The Role
The SENCo is responsible for the strategic leadership, coordination and development of SEND provision across the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle, ensuring that pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) receive high-quality, inclusive and effective support enabling them to achieve their full academic, social and emotional potential.
The SENCo will ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice (2015), the Equality Act 2010 and Independent School Standards, while promoting a culture of inclusion and high expectations throughout the school community.
The SENCo will work closely with Heads of Year, School Directors and other key staff as part of the school’s inclusive learning support provision.
