Job Description
We are working with a large SEN school just outside of Ashford who are looking for experienced and qualified Learning Support Assistants to start throughout the academic year. The school is an independent, coeducational, day school which caters for students across Key Stages 1 β Key Stage 4 with EHC Plans of Social, Emotional, and Behavior difficulties and a range of Learning Difficulties including Autism and Moderate Learning Difficulties.
Responsibilities:
- Support students 1:1 and on a small group basis.
- Follow IEPs.
- Manage any challenging behavior.
- Work under the direction of the class teacher.
- Have a passion for the outdoors and for animals as the school has a farm attached and promote outdoor learning when the weather accommodates.
