Job Description

Key Functions

  • Enforce safety and security regulations to assure the safety and security of Menninger staff, patients, guests, buildings and properties. Demonstrate proper knowledge of safety and security regulations.Take immediate action to correct and/or report any obvious unsafe conditions or actions.Interact with those who violate safety and security regulations in a firm but professional manner. 
  • Perform patrols per departmental guidelines to serve as a deterrent to criminal activities.Patrol designated areas as directed.Investigate suspicious activities and potentially hazardous conditions.Notify proper authorities when situations warrant such action. 
  • Respond appropriately to emergency situationsRespond to emergency incidents in accordance with existing policies and procedures.
