Job Purpose:

The Security Officer serves as a visible deterrent to drug activity, violence, theft, resident elopement, and unauthorized access while maintaining a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for residents, visitors, and staff throughout Care Pavilion. The position serves and supports all facility activities through active patrol of facility buildings, roads, parking lots, smoking areas, and grounds. Given Care

Pavilion's 396-bed census, behavioral health and substance abuse population, designated smoking area, high visitor volume, and increased risk for elopement and contraband, this role requires heightened vigilance and proactive security practices.
