The Security Officer provides support through the Campus Communications Center and patrols the College campus on foot, bicycle, or in a security vehicle. The officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, alumni, visitors, and property. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Conducting daily patrols and walkthroughs of campus buildings and grounds, including locking and unlocking buildings and inspecting fire and access control alarm systems

+ Monitoring the condition of campus buildings and taking steps to prevent damage or theft, as well as identifying and reporting hazards such as broken lights or unsafe conditions during patrols

+ Investigating incidents, crimes, and complaints involving the College or its communit...
