Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage automation, electrical, instrumentation, and utilities systems across the mill.


• Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards, ISO, HACCP, and relevant legislation


• Drive plant reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives


• Develop and implement automation and control strategies, including SCADA, PLCs, and IT production systems


• Manage preventive and planned maintenance programmes to ensure equipment reliability


• Oversee shutdown planning, breakdown analysis, and root cause investigations


• Drive cost management, budgeting, and CAPEX planning for engineering projects


• Lead and develop a high-performing technical team through coaching and mentoring


• Manage external service providers and service level agreements


• Ensure effective asset management and CMMS system utilisation
