NATURE OF WORK:

A middle and/or high school AIG Specialist collaborates with teachers to provide rigor and challenge in the classroom through curriculum planning and co‑teaching, and enriches opportunities for students inside and outside of school including through service learning projects. The Specialist advocates for understanding of the unique social and emotional needs of gifted students and provides individual support for students struggling with schoolwork, stress, perfectionism, underachievement, etc. A wide variety of tasks are performed as a teacher leader on each campus.
