Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the ship s machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety during voyages.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring proper stowage and securing techniques to prevent damage.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of life‑saving equipment, ensuring readiness for emergencies at all times.
• Participate in safety drills and emergency response training, demonstrating preparedness for any situation that may arise at sea.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; maritime education or training is a significant plus.
• STCW certification is mandatory, with additional safety training courses preferred for enhanced qualification.
