UPMC is hiring a full-time Scheduling Coordinator to join their Department of Surgery in Pittsburgh, PA! This position will support our Hepatobiliary Surgery team, which specializes in liver matters. We work together as a team to assist our patients in getting scheduled timely and efficiently.

The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling patient appointments and communicate with patients prior to and following receipt of outpatient services. You will be answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurances, collecting outside imaging, sending correspondence, inputting template changes and providing excellent customer service to every person who contacts our office.

This position will work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with no evenings, weekends, or holidays! Previous experience with Epic, scheduling appointments, and insurance verifications is preferred.
