**Job Summary**

The Real Time Operations Lead is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and support of one or more 24x7 desks within the Real Time Operations (RTO) Reliability/Response teams. This position ensures the safe and reliable operation of the AEP transmission system, overseeing technical expertise and coordination responsibilities for System Control Center (SCC) Reliability Coordinators or Transmission Dispatch System Operators. Key responsibilities include technical leadership concerning Real Time Assessments, Real Time Monitoring and Control functions, Operating Plan development, facility outage coordination, switching and tagging and maintaining compliance with NERC Reliability Standards, RTO policies, and all other operational agreements.
