• Sanitation Driver Job Summary The Sanitation Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of sanitation vehicles to collect, transport, and dispose of waste and recyclable materials.


• This role ensures cleanliness of assigned routes while adhering to safety regulations, company policies, and local environmental standards.
• Key Responsibilities Operate sanitation vehicles (e.g., garbage trucks, recycling trucks) safely and efficiently Collect residential, commercial, and/or industrial waste along assigned routes Load, unload, and transport waste to designated disposal or recycling facilities Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and environmental regulations Maintain accurate route logs and service records Communicate professionally with supervisors and the public Assist sanitation helpers as needed during collections Respond to spills, obstructions, o...
