Job Description
The Sample Receiving Technician supports a high-volume environmental laboratory by receiving, logging, and routing environmental samples such as soil, water, and air. This role ensures that all samples are accurately documented, properly labeled, and delivered to the appropriate laboratory departments in accordance with established procedures, regulatory requirements, and safety standards. It is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in building a career in laboratory operations or progressing into analytical testing roles.
Responsibilities

+ Receive and unload incoming coolers and consignments of environmental samples in accordance with DOT regulations.

+ Verify incoming samples against the Chain of Custody (COC), match them to corresponding quotes, and document any discrepancies daily.
