Key Responsibilities Perform bookkeeping and monthly accounting up to trial balance Capture and process financial transactions accurately Assist with preparation of annual financial statements Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and income tax returns Support SARS e Filing and liaise with SARS on queries Assist with payroll processing and statutory submissions (UIF, PAYE, SDL) Support audit and independent review engagements Prepare working papers and supporting documentation Perform bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations Maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients Assist senior accountants with ad hoc tasks and client deliverables Requirements BCom Accounting or similar qualification (completed or in progress) Intention to register or currently registered for SAIPA articles Strong academic record (advantageous) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage) Good understanding of basic accounting and tax principles
